Vacancy available: construction mazdoor (Gombe State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Funakaye, Gombe State. The job is on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On the job you will handle: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
