Falsework carpenter — Carteret County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Carteret County, North Carolina. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
