Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Tarrant County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
