Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Rock County, Minnesota. You will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 2+ years on the tools preferred.
