Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Ajingi, Kano State. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Your main tasks: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Rotating shifts.
