Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Crawford County, Illinois. The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
