Offshore rigger — Cibola County

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cibola County, New Mexico. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
