Bricklayer • Ray County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ray County, Missouri. You will be based on a busy housing site. Day to day you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
