Crawler crane operator • Defiance County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Defiance County, Ohio. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
