Lift maintenance fitter — Whatcom County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Whatcom County, Washington. You will work at a busy lift company. Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
