Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Marion County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
