Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Rappahannock County, Virginia. You will be based at a container port. On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Performance bonus on top of base pay.
