Fabrication workshop technician — Tyrrell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings The role involves cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
