Machinist — Sheridan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Full-time, day shift.
