Urgent requirement: dogger (Nebraska)

Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Wheeler County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
