Join our team: we are hiring a dough maker in Dubois County, Indiana. You will work at a cake shop. Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
