Plastering hand — Redwood County

Join our team: we are hiring a plastering hand in Redwood County, Minnesota. You will work at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
