Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Unicoi County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 3+ years on the tools preferred.
