Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Ohio County, Indiana. You will work in a tailoring workshop. You will give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
