Crane rigger — Pottawattamie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise building site. The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
