Vertical milling machine operator • Orange County, Vermont

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Orange County, Vermont. The job is in a toolroom. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery You will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
