Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Alameda County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Alameda County, California. The job is in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time with occasional weekends.
