We are recruiting: hoist operator (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Phillips County, Kansas. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Overtime paid at a premium rate.
