Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Douglas County, Colorado. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
