Single needle operator — Lee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Lee County, Illinois. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Part-time with flexible hours.
