Precision welder — Trumbull County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Trumbull County, Ohio. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
