Blocklayer — Prairie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Prairie County, Montana. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
