Lathe programmer-operator — Boone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Boone County, Illinois. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
