Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Edgar County, Illinois. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
