Presser — Kings County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Kings County, California. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching.
