Immediate opening: punch press operator (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Dickinson County, Iowa. The job is at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
