Semi-automatic welder wanted in Rockland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Rockland County, New York. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Six days a week, one day off.
