Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Antelope County, Nebraska. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
