Machinist — Lewis County

Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Lewis County, Washington. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
