Lifting rigger — Niagara County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Niagara County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
