Ceiling and wall plasterer — Schenectady County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Schenectady County, New York. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets The role involves: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Check walls for plumb and level as you go At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
