We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Macon County, Missouri. The job is in a refurbishment property. The role involves apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; check walls for plumb and level as you go; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
