We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Sanilac County, Michigan. The job is at an auto components factory. The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
