GTAW welder — Mitchell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Mitchell County, Kansas. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
