Join our team: foundry labourer (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Cochran County, Texas. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture.
