Immediate opening: punch press operator (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in City of York, England. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges You will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
