Quality assurance assistant — Saint Croix County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. You will work in an automotive parts factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Your main tasks: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
