CNC machine operator wanted in Keweenaw County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Keweenaw County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
