Tig welder — Gwagwalada

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Gwagwalada, Federal Capital Territory. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
