Crawler dozer operator — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Polk County, Minnesota. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. On the job you will handle: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Refuel the machine and record running hours You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
