Argon welding operator • Clearfield County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
