Pipe TIG welder • Elko County, Nevada

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Elko County, Nevada. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Six days a week, one day off.
