Gas service engineer • Eddy County, New Mexico

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Eddy County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
