Earthmoving plant operator — Wapello County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Wapello County, Iowa. The job is in an open-cast mine. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Part-time with flexible hours. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
