Shuttering carpenter — Pitkin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Pitkin County, Colorado. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings The role involves cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
